He is the LAST known son of Menifee to be standing at stud in the United States. He is Grade II stakes placed (3rd in the San Vicente) out of the Gone West Mare “And Beyond.” Kirkendahl is 17.2 hands and presently ranks 13th in the Iowa stallion rankings and 127th out of 282 in the Midwest. His sire Menifee was considered the “Sunday Silence” of Korea and was their #1 sire there every year since 2011 until his pass several weeks ago. Kirkendahl stamps bone, athleticism and intelligence in all of his foals. Many of his OTTB progeny have gone into the sporthorse world. He is an easy breeder, know what is expected of him and is ready to go eat his hay. He is a big powerful stallion that would be ideal for a regional program that caters to racing and sporthorse breeding. Get him know before this bloodline is all but lost here in the United States!
