First-year stallions are always HOT HOT HOT, and that includes the Spenthrift’s exciting new stallion GORMLEY. A multiple G1-winner at both two and three years old, GORMLEY won the West Coast’s biggest races in the FrontRunner S.-G1 (at 2) and the Santa Anita Derby-G1 (at 3) on his way to earning more than a million dollars, becoming sire MALIBU MOON’s only G1-winner at both 2 and 3 at stud. His first foals were a hit at the sales last fall, and now his first yearlings at the Fasig-Tipton Selected Yearling Showcase sold for an average of $137,500 (more than 18 times his stud fee) and are commanding as much as $270k at Keeneland.

 

And just look at this – this big filly is a three-quarter sister to Graded Stakes filly Dream, who is also now a stakes producer and sold as a broodmare for $170k last November! First dam DREAM OUT LOUD (by STRAVINSKY) is a half-sister to two Graded Stakes performers in MAGISTRETTI (G2 winner and multiple G1-placed in the U.S., England and France) and SMART SILHOUETTE (G2/G3-placed in Japan).
