Description

Two-time champion and Classic winner of well over $3 million, LOOKIN AT LUCKY was described by Bob Baffert as “one of the best horses I’ve ever had” on his way to winning nine races including the Preakness Stakes-G1, Haskell Invitational-G1, Del Mar Futurity-G1, Norfolk Stakes-G1, Hollywood Futurity-G1. Now equally successful as a sire, it’s hard to go wrong with a LOOKIN AT LUCKY baby as he’s produced 76% winners to runners from his first three crops and recorded over $8.5 million in progeny earnings in 2017 alone, with top performers including ACCELERATE (G1 placed), LOOKIN AT LEE (G1 placed including the Kentucky Derby), MONEY MULTIPLIER (G1 placed), MAYBELLENE (G1 placed), BREAKING LUCKY (G1 placed), ONE LUCKY DANE (G1 placed), MADEFROMLUCKY (G2), and LUCKY PLAYER (G3). In the sales ring, yearlings have sold for $490k, $380k, $320k, $300k, $300k, $300k etc. This filly is just the third foal from race-winning GHOSTLY MINISTER mare MAGIC MADISON, whose just-turned three-year-old filly NO WINE UNTASTED (by THE FACTOR) is now embarking on her race career with smart works at Los Alamitos, and also has a rising two-year-old filly by DECLARATION OF WAR coming for her. In addition, MAGIC MADISON is a half-sister to the incredible colt GIOVANNI BOLDINI who ran second in the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Turf (G1), as well as being a half to a 2017 colt by AMERICAN PHAROAH who sold for $525k at Keeneland November and a 2016 SCAT DADDY colt who sold for $250k in September.
