This is a terrific opportunity to add a very nice, young broodmare to your band at a very attractive price. I am selling Patty's Pride, a stakes winning mare of more than 250k. She is a nice physical specimen that proved it on the racetrack. She won stakes on both the main track and turf course with multiple stakes placings on both surfaces. She was a hard-knocking racehorse who made her way to the post 42 times between her 2yo and 5 yo seasons and earned black type EACH of those seasons.
This is a nice physical mare with the racing record and strong female line that should allow breeders to "breed up" to better level stallions than I can afford, and I would like to put her in the hands of breeders with the wherewithal to give her the chance she deserves. Especially after seeing the first two foals, I am convinced that she can do something special in the hands of people who can access the better stallions in Kentucky.
The first two photos are from 2014 when she was "slicked up" and the last photo was taken 12/14/16 right from the pasture.
Patty's Pride will sell with a paid season to Imagining (Standing in MD for $7500) for 2018, with breedback in 2019 if there is no live foal from this year's breeding. UPDATE: Patty is now in foal to Imagining (5/31/18 cover).
Her first foal, Great Bend, broke his maiden at second asking going two turns at Delaware Park and recently finished second in a nw1x allowance race. Pointed to a PA-bred stakes race in July. The second foal is now named "Pride in the Business" and is expected to debut in the fall. After the open season last year, she has a very nice Sky Kingdom filly by her side (ask to see a photo!).
Selling price INCLUDES board at her current location until the Sky Kingdom filly is ready for weaning in the fall. You need only cover vet and farrier bills until then.
